JEFF

Last night was Jeff's graduation. We got a ton of snow that night, and so my grandparents in snowflake couldn't make it. But, Grandpa Barry, and Grandma Risa made it. The important thing is that he made it!! Jeff will work this summer and then in August he will go to EasternArizonaCollege for a while. Then, next May he will come back and go on a mission. This year has gone by so fast. I can't believe the school year is already over. I will miss him!!

SUMMER???????????

On Monday, I woke up to a beautiful day full of sunshine. Well, on Thursday I woke up to a ton of snow on the ground. This was the day my grade and I were going to the pool. (thank goodness for indoors pool) The sad part is that we had to walk back to school when we were done! BOY! was it cold. It was raining hard and the wind was blowing in our faces. So much for a great last day of school. Also this was the night of Jeff's graduation. Turns out we got 8 inches last night. It was still snowing when I got up this morning. I love the snow, but not in the end of may!

Kelsey Briggs

I was over at my friends house the other day. They have an foreign exchange student in their home and she wanted us to look at this sad video and pictures of a little child . The video is about a little named Kelsey Briggs. She was killed by child abuse when she was only 3 yrs old. It broke my heart to see this video. she was such a cute little thing.

Brig & Shayla Come to ARIZONA!!

Well, around the same time as spring break, Brig and Shayla Came! They brought Max too. HE is adorably. Here are some pics! (sorry Brig and Shayla, we don't have any pics of you guys.) WE went to a baseball game, ate at Chinese food, and watched a basketball game! it was fun thanks you Shayla and Brig for coming down!! You guys ROCK!

So 2 weeks ago we had our spring break. it was wonderful!!! Dad went to Florida all week!(not wonderful) So me, mom , jeff, sully, and mitch hung out. On Thursday we went to the Catwalk in New Mexico It was super Fun.
We ate lunch there on one of the picnic tables. (as you can see above) And then started our hike. It was a very easy and not too long or short, but PERFECT! It was really fun. Once we had gone to the finish line, we turned back to go play in the river. While playing in it, Mitchell jumped across the river to a rock. Sully wanted to be over there with him so he tried but slipping on the rock and falling in. Of course, with our luck, the current pulled him under. Then, when he came up, he was dog-paddling like crazy to the nearest rock. Mitch didn't know when would be the right time to jump in to get him. So he just jumped and pulled him to the nearest shore where Jeff pulled sully right out. The water was FREEZING! so sully was shaking like no other, and having no body fat doesn't keep a boy warm! So he took off his shirt and walked the rest of the way! while we were walking, I asked sully, "Was it scary?", "Yes, but I didn't save my hat." Poor sully lost his favorite hat in the river!! poor kid! anyway then we went to Alpine and ate a hearty meal at Bearwallow. where we all had Hamburgers! (except mom had a chicken salad. it was good too) Sully With out his hat! (cold and freezing) (and shirtless) Sully with his hat!

All-State (2nd Day)

Okay, so I got up and went to breakfast at the hotel. Well when I go there, there was one of those waffle makers! (they make the best waffles.) I poured my waffle batter in and went to go get yogurt i came back and waited for 15 minutes! I though Waffles don't take this long!" so I opened the maker and split my waffle in two. Turns out someone turned off the waffle maker while I was getting my yogurt.(So mad) So I had 2 yogurts instead. Then we were off to th races! (or rehearsal for 8 hours) we signed in did all the normal stuff, then we met our director! was he hilarious or what?! He was short, bald, and was drinking a huge cup of coffee. His personality was better though. He made a joke out of everything and really helped me with my singing.He also loved Transformers. Whenever he found a microphone left on, he would run up to it ad say a transformers line!! After rehearsal, we got changed into our performance clothes. Talk about a packed bathroom with make-up, straightness, and hair-spray! SO after i was done we all decided as a group to rehearse our 2 least favorite songs. then it was Show Time.


When we came out on stage you can feel all eyes glued on you (or the choir) it is an amazing feeling. Like your famous or something. Anyway, we sang: Turtle Dove Go Way' From My Window(all s) Keep your Lamps Fauna Conzona(Italian) When we were done we all said goodbye to our new friends(though i had little) and we left! It was an AMAZING experience and I hope to go again next year. All the of us choir performers became friends. We cried together, we laughed together, and sang together (DUH) but I really really enjoyed it.

All- State (1st day)

On Friday (the 23) I had All-state in Mesa! (In case of those who don't know!) Well, all-state is where your choir, band, and string teacher nominate you out of your whole school.Then they send their list in to the state and the state chooses the top in the list!! I was chosen!! (as you can tell) It was a really long drive down. Once we got down there it was really fun! 1st we went to the mall. I had to buy my performance clothes and could not find an affordable black skirt (that fit me) in the WHOLE mall! It was really frustrating. So my mom walked to Target and got me one! Thanks mom! Anyway, then we went to our hotel to go swimming. when we got done (swimming) we went into our rooms.Me and my roommate pigged out!! we ate dairy queen, Panda Express, and McDonalds! (GAG) When we were done eating we tried to go to sleep! Well,our AC didn't work. So here we were in the valley where it is gorging hot and our Ac doesn't work. so we called our director when she came in, all of a sudden it started working! when she left t hough it was 12:30 , and the next morning we had to wake up at 5:00 AM!! Regionals

This weekend Jeff and Mitch wrestled in regionals. They both wrestled hard and long! The tournament lasted all day. Jeff wrestled for 1ST and WON!! Mitch wrestled for 3rd and lost. =( but he still got 4th and is going to state. So tomorrow we venture off to phoenix to go to a 2 day long tournament. I will post the results.

Last Friday night, my volleyball team and i had a fun evening. All the s slept at my house for the tournament we had the next morning. BOY!! what a night. all these pictures were taken in about 5 minutes!! WE all first watched a little tv, then came dinner, then TPing!!! well i guess we didn't plan the TPing too good, so someone decided to ring the doorbell. Oh man did me and my friend stormy run. but, i guess the running didn't help. while hiding the spriklers came on right in our faces. we got caught! as our punishment, we had to pick up all the toilet paper and throw it away!! WHAT A PAIN! But after that adventure, all s took a shower and needed to blow dry their hair!! Since we had about 4 dryers plugged in & going on high!! Guess what? the power in the bathroom and my room went out. and it just so happened that i had to be in the shower when it happened. but i guess it was fun! anyway after that we all settled down and watched AFV!! and then calmed down for bed.Although we talked for about and hour and a half! (typical s) the at 5:00 we all woke up and left for the tournament!
