8th grade promotion

well yesterday was my 8th grade promotion. it was a really long day. first i got up at 7:15. got ready to go to the auditorium. got to the auditorium and sat in my seat with my homeroom. then i got my certificate and a plaque for playing all 4 sports and going to all-state choir. watched a slide show of all the 8th graders and their baby pictures. i cried on toria's pictures. then afterward took some pictures with toria and all my friends.

Then since mom and dad had work, i went to a friends house until noon. Then at noon we went to becker lake for a party for the 8th grade. i would've jumped in but i had been in lyman lake the night before. had some hot dogs, brownies, and cupcakes. then it got really cold and started to sprinkle so we got in a friends 5 -seater car with 11 people. then ate some war heads and went to another friends house.

Got to my friends house at 2:30. sat in her bedroom and napped/ talked for 3 hours. then we got ready to go to our promotion party at seven.

Got to the promotion party and danced. I was awarded: Going to be best grandparent, with anohter kid. Ate pizza and took a ton of pictures. Danced some more and just had a good time. Then Toria had to leave to St. George for a little. I cried so hard and so did all my other friends. It was really hard. I just broke down when she drove away. I love her so much! Then a few other kids were having a parties and i didn't want to go to any of them, neither did a few other friends, so at last minute we decided to go to my house for a little bit.

Went home Early to clean up the upstairs. My friends showed up and we played boxer and briefs.*awesome game* We played it for a really long time. then we played a little ping pong. Then we got out the rock band and went to town. It was really fun, and i am glad for friends who help me so much. I am grateful that i was able to get promoted. and i am really nervous for high school. It was an extremely hard year, and i cant believe its over. I will miss toria and all my holbrook friends over the summer.

One of my close friends is moving to St. George. Her dad found a better job there, and it is closer to family.I am going to miss her so much. Now I know how it feels to be the one getting left behind. It reminds me of when we moved. It was so sad, but now i am really glad we moved. I love it here, and I never thought I would! But toria does swim team with me. and she is an awesome softball pitcher, and she is so muscular and built, and she is gorgeous!!! I love her, and I hope I can stay in touch with her forever!!

This year the 8th grade took a trip down to Phoenix. WE went to the legislature building, the mall, a d-backs game, amazing jakes, and skate land. it was fun. I will get pictures from all my friends and do a different post on it!

Friday was crazy. I got up went to school, and did my skit. We smashed a watermelon and some other crazy stuff. Then I went home to do the hives thing.

It was amazing. She started by me pushing up her arm with my fore arm. I was pretty strong and she couldn't push my arm down. But when I held this bottle of possible things I can be allergic to (my shampoo, detergent, and drop of blood.) I could not keep her arm up. I had no strength at all. That means I was probably allergic to it. It was amazing how all those things just drained my energy. Anyway, then I sat on the couch, and she tapped my back in this weird sequence for s little. then I laid down and she began pressing pressure points from one side of my body to the other, while I held the bottle of stuff. MAN! those points were extremely sore. Then I had to lay still for 30 minutes. I sat there and one foot would get cold, then the other. Then I would go numb. My body was adjusting to all those pressure points telling my body to not be allergic to all those things. The bottle got really hot. Then when I was done, I felt lazy. but I didn't get hives for a long time.

Then that night I went to the school dance. It was one of the worst dances I have been to this year, I danced by myself almost all night. But luckily i had my loyal friend Taylor who would happy me up. And I found out that I did win student council.

Then when I got home I got hives again all over my back. They hurt so bad. I didn't get to sleep till a little after midnight.

I then woke up and went to softball practice.

I am so excited. The two people I was running against dropped out. So, I basically won. I am really excited. Just to let you know. But, I will still fill you in on the hive procedure, and how my speech went!

Hives...

Well, for the past 2 months or so, I have been getting hives. Nasty ones too. they get huge, and wont go away with anything. We thought it might be this new laundry detergent my mom bought. but no we switched it, and I still got them. I have tried so many products, it is unreal. At first it started out to just be ones on my back, arms, legs, and upper body. but lately they have gotten so disgusting on my legs. I fell like such a freak. At track mm, eets when I get them, people stare at me like i have this contagious disease, and they won't talk to me.
I stay up late in the night scratching and not sleeping. It has been an itchy 2 months. but, on Friday a lady is coming to see what is causing these horrible irritations. And the good news is she isn't giving me any shots. just pushing pressure points, making me hold different things I am might be allergic to. And then hopefully I will be hive free.
So, Friday is a big day. I might get rid of my hives, and I have elections for student council. Wish me luck.

So this year I am running for freshman treasurer. I have ran every year and lost by 5-10 votes. I am kind of sick of losing. There are two other kids running against me. I really want to win. I don't really have any good ideas of what to put in my speech. or what to do for a skit. I will let you know next Friday whether i win or lose. (day of elections) so if you have any ideas for my speech or my skit that would be awesome! I really want to win. but i don't know what to do!!!!Thanks

Spring has come, and it is still not very warm. But, the sun stays out till 7:00! It is wonderful. We have puppies. So, the garage smells like poo! Also, track is going good. Mitchel is doing baseball. Sully is doing little league baseball. And we are all trying to keep up with school. It has been really crazy. So, just hoping your spring turns out good and is full of warmth.

i decided to go snow boarding. (since I wasn't allowed during basketball because I might get hurt.) It was a windy day on the mountain. My eyes hurt like crazy going up the lift. But, other than that it was a good day. Me and my friend Kylie were the only ones snowboarding. the rest ski! We ate lunch at the lodge, fell, went really fast, and learned dome new things. I hope I can go again next year!

1st Track Meet

So today was our first track meet this season. My events were: shot put, 400 meter race, 200 meter race, and 400 meter relay.I did pretty well for being kind of small in my group. I got 4th in shot put. 4th in the 400. This was my hardest race, because you have to basically sprint the whole thing. Well, after the race, I started blacking out and my legs were cramping up! it was a bad feeling. But, I got 1st in the relay, and I'm not sure what I got on the 200! My mom took some pictures, but I didn't feel like loading them, so I will post those later.

So now, since basketball is over track has begun! I don't really like to run, but I really like track. My best event is shot put! and I really hope I can do that well this year. It is spring break right now and we don't have practice. which will be a really awesome break!! I haven't had a break fom sports since December! I will try to keep this updated to whether I do, well, okay or not!

So as you can see we did really good! we made it to the championship game and played a horrible game, had the worst refs, and some (but most) of the g i r l s on the other team were jerkish!! I cannot tell you how many times a gall would kick me in the shins for dribbling past her! It was an intense footbal/basketball game. Hopefully the next time we meet Joseph City, we will beat them!

So, aunt Tennille & uncle Boomer gave us some oranges. So, we decided to 'juice' them. (make orange juice out of them) during it, I took some really cool pics of them. (at least they are cool to me!!) I know nerdy right? lately i have been really interested in photoraphy and have been thinking wether it could become a profession of mine. I think it would be fun to be a photographer. Anyway. these are really random. and probably not that great. just thought i would share these with everyone. So, as most of you know, Lindy, Ame, and Tevi came up!! The first night they were here, i was with my friend Taylor, and my mom said they were coming to our house on Friday while grandma Risa and grandpa Barry were at the temple. Me and Ame had so much fun!
So, in my career exploratory class, we get to use the computers a lot. And, when you get extra time you can play on the computers. Well we have discovered a thing called photo booth. It is an application on those computers, where you can mess around with the picture, while you take it. Anyway, so a few weeks ago, I discovered my moms laptop had it. And, our normal computer has been all messed up, so we have been using my moms laptop. So, it was at the house when Ame got here. We took some awesome pictures. also, we watched The Little Mermaid, Straightened her hair, drew on the side walk with chalk, watched Kung Fu Panda!1 (awesome movie) and we watched spongebob. and took pictures a lot of the time.I had a lot of fun. Im glad she got to stay with me. So there are a few pictures.(we took over 100) I'll do the rest later. My favorite picture is of Tevi!! He looks like an alien!!***Thats how i did the picture in my heading!!***

Since its late, I'm doing a quick post. New Years and Christmas was fun. But this post is a quick update on Taylor. She was released from the hospital! She was able to come home for Christmas!!!!! I was so excited and so was she. she was able to be home for about a week and a half. She got a wii for Christmas!(its one of the things she wanted) and she came over to our house, and over to my other friends house. She still has an eye patch. And since they had to shave a tiny part of her hair for the draining tube, she has short hair in that part. she calls it her "man" hair. And she loves to feel it. She is going back tomorrow right after church back down to mesa. She will live with her sister and do out-patient therapy 3 times a week. she will do speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. She will be hoe- schooled for the rest of the year. I'm excited she is doing awesome! But, still keep her in your prayers. I will post on Christmas & New Years tomorrow. I'm really tired right now!

Okay, so this last week has been really rough. I have experienced many frightening and AWESOME things. be ready for a really long post.-I will post pictures later.

SATURDAY:Nov 15- We had a volleyball tournament in Alchesay and placed 2nd. we did awesome and it was good to see my Holbrook buddies. we came home in our little bus and were dropped off at the school. then my friend's sister came and picked us up. (us being me, my friend Kylie, and my other friend Taylor) as we were driving home we wrecked. we hit head-on with another car. none of us had our seat belts on -except the driver Taylor's sister. She got a burn from the air-bag and broke something in her hand. me and my friend Kylie were in the back seat were fine we only had a few bruises and scrapes. on the other hand, my friend Taylor, who was in the passenger seat, was unconscious. we went to the ER and Taylor was flown to St. Josephs in Phoenix.

SUNDAY:Nov16- I woke up hurting really bad. I was sore all over. so i stayed home from church and rested. I kept thinking about Taylor all day. a few people visited me.

MONDAY: Nov17- I woke up a little sore but did not want to go to school. so I stayed home. my dad and I went to go pick up my friend Kylie. she was going to stay the day at our house with me because her mom and dad were in the valley for a football game. We played games, watched TV, slept, and ate food.

TUESDAY-FRIDAY: Nov 18-21- I went to school and had a volleyball game. It was normal except without my spunky Taylor. Kylie spent the night.

SATURDAY: Nov 22- Me, my mom, and Kylie went to see Taylor. I was scared but i needed to see her. It was a long drive but it was worth it. We got down there around lunch time and had Panda Express. YUMMY! Then we went to see Taylor. She was staying the PICU. We walked in and it felt really peaceful. THe light was off because they said she responds better in the dark. She was still out, and had her breathing tube in, and her feeding tube in but to see her made me feel that everything was going to be alright. We talked to her and joked with her and it felt she was wake and happy. then we got some ice cream at BASKIN ROBINS-31 flavors, and went home.

SUNDAY-MONDAY:Nov 23-24- On Sunday I had YW in excellence and then on Monday I went to school and did all the normal things.But, on Monday night we went with my dad and sully to the valley for our thanksgiving weekend.

TUESDAY:Nov 25- woke up late and went to my aunt Tennille's house to help her with her preschool while my dad was at meetings. while sully helped the baby-sitter watch griffin. It was fun and i liked helping her. then in the afternoon, my dad took me to see Taylor. the light was still off and and she still had her breathing and feeding tube in. i talked to her and felt peaceful.Then we had pizza at Tennille's house and went back to the hotel. My mom and Mitchel were coming down and were not to far away. The hotel had Dark Night and I had never seen the movie, so we watched it. IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!

WEDNESDAY:Nov26- woke up really late and got news of Taylor . the nurse told Taylor if you can hear me then wave. SHE WAVED. it was awesome to hear that. then we went to Denny's. Then, we went to our uncle Tony's house to have our thanksgiving dinner. It was delicious. I love a good dinner.we stayed the night there

THURSDAY: Nov27(Thanksgiving)- woke up and went to Boomers house. Boomer, my dad, Jeff,and their friend Dennis were going to go hunting. so while they packed up I played with Griffin (the sweetest kid in the world.) Then when they left we went to go see Taylor-for me. WE walked in and she was asleep but the light was on. Her mom woke her up and told her to wave. I couldn't believe it was her. I miss her so much at school. but i know that if i pray and fast everything will be okay. then we ate and went to our friend Jody's house. we visited her and the Karges family for a little then went home.

FRIDAY: Nov 28- I'm here posting and thinking about Taylor! have a safe holiday and wear your seat belts.

I love biting my nails. It is a bad habit i need to stop.
I love to chew on things. Especially plastic! i don't know why but it is so enjoyable to just sit and think while you chew on something. No wonder i loved 'poo-fiers' so much.(pacifiers)
I have long fingers and long arms for my height! it comes in handy during sports.
The worst nightmare i have ever had is of crumpled paper. It is weird but i love folding my papers. In the dream, the paper flashes back and forth between smooth and wrinkly! WEIRD i know!
This is really hard!! umm... I have ran for student council for three consecutive years and never won. always losing by like 5 or 3 votes!! I really wish peaople would just vote for me!!! if only they really got to know me and knew how much i would enjoy doing it.
I love taking pictures. This year I have a photgraphy class and i really like it! i do really well. *even though i lost a school camera. ALso I have a career class and I always say I wouild like to be a photographer! i think it would be fun.
I'm extremely weird!! ask my friends. I can be really shy! but when im in the zone, I can be totally random, and goofy! Maybe thats why people don't vote for me!! they think im some kind of freak! OH WELL! I love being me.

Nerd night

For young womans the other week, we did a daddy daughter nerd night. it was really fun! You had to dress up as a nerd with your dad. Then, you had to a bunch of activities: 1)Shave your dad blindfolded, WITH A POPSICLE STICK!!!!so there was no ! 2) 3 legged race. 3) your dad had to pick out which pair of feet was yours. 4) you had to pick your dads nose out of the rest. 5) a nerd test. (my dad was the nerdiest! he even wore a belt buckle with his name on it.) 6) tie your dads tie. & at the end everyone got an award. I got best use of sweats award. 7) Your dad had to braid your hair! we toally lost that one. It was really fun and I don't really do anything like that with my dad (without brothers), so i was glad i was able to go and he wasn't busy. This week we are having a halloween pary. I will post on that later.

This month in science we have been learning about DNA. so our last project was to "Create a Person" using DNA codes. My person was the coolest, if I may say. I used Max's head with Michael Phelps body.so he turned out to be an awesome stud! what do ya think? Can you see max looking like this in high school? (its not a good scan sorry)

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I have been extremely busy. well. a couple of weekends ago, we went to go chop wood. and g-pa Barry and g-ma Risa tagged along. I think we had a good time. While helping granpa load wood, a bee stung my finger.i have never been stung by a bee before and to my surprise, it didn't hurt as bad as i thought it would. so after i was stung, i read my book for the remainder time. The day was beautiful, and so were the mountains. IT was a good day even though i was stung by a bee.

My softball season

Okay, I played softball this year(for the little league team.) We were the D-Backs! I had a good time. The only pictures we took of the season were at my game in Heber, where we had a double header. I played left field the whole time in both games. we played really well the first game. i don't remember the score, but we did really good. then, the second game, we tied. (i think) I hit really well too. while, i wasn't playing in the game, me and my friend kylie (UDALL- distant relative)played in the dug out. We made stick people. They were awesome! we used gum to stick grass hair and to make skirtts and put hats on them. I can't wait for school softball to start.

Sully was asked to do all stars also. At first, he wasn't going to. but, when my mom heard they needed one more player she couldn't decline. so he played. The games were originally supposed to be played in Winslow, but thankfully, they changed the games to st. johns. the first game they lost by 1. 13-12. then the second game they lost also. I don't know the score on that one.so they were out. but he did great. at least thats what I heard.

Jeff this year was in all-stars. Jeff and another kid from Round valley went. it was awesome to watch. jeff (in the game) played 2nd base and 3rd base. He did well. Jeff was o the north team. they lost. But, one of Jeff's friends from Holbrook went also. So I think he had a good time!

Well, this being the last month of school, I never got to tell about track. Well, I ran 200meter dash, 400 meter dash, and sometimes relay. My Field events were shot put, and long jump. But, Shot put was my main event. In fact I went to finals in Shot Put and took 2nd. My dad says that I make the Udall name proud! I also went to finals in relay. But, we didn't do well. Also, when We went to our track meet in Blue Ridge. I got a bad sunburn. That was also the day I got shots on both shoulders, so I had band-aids on my shoulders when I got sunburned. So I got a band-aid burn.

Last night was Jeff's graduation. We got a ton of snow that night, and so my grandparents in snowflake couldn't make it. But, Grandpa Barry, and Grandma Risa made it. The important thing is that he made it!! Jeff will work this summer and then in August he will go to EasternArizonaCollege for a while. Then, next May he will come back and go on a mission. This year has gone by so fast. I can't believe the school year is already over. I will miss him!!

On Monday, I woke up to a beautiful day full of sunshine. Well, on Thursday I woke up to a ton of snow on the ground. This was the day my grade and I were going to the pool. (thank goodness for indoors pool) The sad part is that we had to walk back to school when we were done! BOY! was it cold. It was raining hard and the wind was blowing in our faces. So much for a great last day of school. Also this was the night of Jeff's graduation. Turns out we got 8 inches last night. It was still snowing when I got up this morning. I love the snow, but not in the end of may!

Brig & Shayla Come to ARIZONA!!

Well, around the same time as spring break, Brig and Shayla Came! They brought Max too. HE is adorably. Here are some pics! (sorry Brig and Shayla, we don't have any pics of you guys.) WE went to a baseball game, ate at Chinese food, and watched a basketball game! it was fun thanks you Shayla and Brig for coming down!! You guys ROCK!

So 2 weeks ago we had our spring break. it was wonderful!!! Dad went to Florida all week!(not wonderful) So me, mom , jeff, sully, and mitch hung out. On Thursday we went to the Catwalk in New Mexico It was super Fun.
We ate lunch there on one of the picnic tables. (as you can see above) And then started our hike. It was a very easy and not too long or short, but PERFECT! It was really fun. Once we had gone to the finish line, we turned back to go play in the river. While playing in it, Mitchell jumped across the river to a rock. Sully wanted to be over there with him so he tried but slipping on the rock and falling in. Of course, with our luck, the current pulled him under. Then, when he came up, he was dog-paddling like crazy to the nearest rock. Mitch didn't know when would be the right time to jump in to get him. So he just jumped and pulled him to the nearest shore where Jeff pulled sully right out. The water was FREEZING! so sully was shaking like no other, and having no body fat doesn't keep a boy warm! So he took off his shirt and walked the rest of the way! while we were walking, I asked sully, "Was it scary?", "Yes, but I didn't save my hat." Poor sully lost his favorite hat in the river!! poor kid! anyway then we went to Alpine and ate a hearty meal at Bearwallow. where we all had Hamburgers! (except mom had a chicken salad. it was good too) Sully With out his hat! (cold and freezing) (and shirtless) Sully with his hat!

All-State (2nd Day)

Okay, so I got up and went to breakfast at the hotel. Well when I go there, there was one of those waffle makers! (they make the best waffles.) I poured my waffle batter in and went to go get yogurt i came back and waited for 15 minutes! I though Waffles don't take this long!" so I opened the maker and split my waffle in two. Turns out someone turned off the waffle maker while I was getting my yogurt.(So mad) So I had 2 yogurts instead. Then we were off to th races! (or rehearsal for 8 hours) we signed in did all the normal stuff, then we met our director! was he hilarious or what?! He was short, bald, and was drinking a huge cup of coffee. His personality was better though. He made a joke out of everything and really helped me with my singing.He also loved Transformers. Whenever he found a microphone left on, he would run up to it ad say a transformers line!! After rehearsal, we got changed into our performance clothes. Talk about a packed bathroom with make-up, straightness, and hair-spray! SO after i was done we all decided as a group to rehearse our 2 least favorite songs. then it was Show Time.

When we came out on stage you can feel all eyes glued on you (or the choir) it is an amazing feeling. Like your famous or something. Anyway, we sang: Turtle Dove Go Way' From My Window(all s) Keep your Lamps Fauna Conzona(Italian) When we were done we all said goodbye to our new friends(though i had little) and we left! It was an AMAZING experience and I hope to go again next year. All the of us choir performers became friends. We cried together, we laughed together, and sang together (DUH) but I really really enjoyed it.

All- State (1st day)

On Friday (the 23) I had All-state in Mesa! (In case of those who don't know!) Well, all-state is where your choir, band, and string teacher nominate you out of your whole school.Then they send their list in to the state and the state chooses the top in the list!! I was chosen!! (as you can tell) It was a really long drive down. Once we got down there it was really fun! 1st we went to the mall. I had to buy my performance clothes and could not find an affordable black skirt (that fit me) in the WHOLE mall! It was really frustrating. So my mom walked to Target and got me one! Thanks mom! Anyway, then we went to our hotel to go swimming. when we got done (swimming) we went into our rooms.Me and my roommate pigged out!! we ate dairy queen, Panda Express, and McDonalds! (GAG) When we were done eating we tried to go to sleep! Well,our AC didn't work. So here we were in the valley where it is gorging hot and our Ac doesn't work. so we called our director when she came in, all of a sudden it started working! when she left t hough it was 12:30 , and the next morning we had to wake up at 5:00 AM!! Regionals

This weekend Jeff and Mitch wrestled in regionals. They both wrestled hard and long! The tournament lasted all day. Jeff wrestled for 1ST and WON!! Mitch wrestled for 3rd and lost. =( but he still got 4th and is going to state. So tomorrow we venture off to phoenix to go to a 2 day long tournament. I will post the results.

Last Friday night, my volleyball team and i had a fun evening. All the s slept at my house for the tournament we had the next morning. BOY!! what a night. all these pictures were taken in about 5 minutes!! WE all first watched a little tv, then came dinner, then TPing!!! well i guess we didn't plan the TPing too good, so someone decided to ring the doorbell. Oh man did me and my friend stormy run. but, i guess the running didn't help. while hiding the spriklers came on right in our faces. we got caught! as our punishment, we had to pick up all the toilet paper and throw it away!! WHAT A PAIN! But after that adventure, all s took a shower and needed to blow dry their hair!! Since we had about 4 dryers plugged in & going on high!! Guess what? the power in the bathroom and my room went out. and it just so happened that i had to be in the shower when it happened. but i guess it was fun! anyway after that we all settled down and watched AFV!! and then calmed down for bed.Although we talked for about and hour and a half! (typical s) the at 5:00 we all woke up and left for the tournament!

Although v-ball has started for me, my brothers have wrestling as well. Sully is also doing it and is loving for the past 2 matches, he has pinned the guy. (look at his muscles, Isn't he BUFF!!)

Well everyone, softball is over and i am very excited! Volleyball is now beginning! But i have to say that the softball tournament was EXTREMELY tough! We got 2nd! (we lost to Joseph City) Speaking of Joseph city, that is where the tournament took place! My eyes were filled with dirt by the end of it! It was horrible!!! but fun! well, till we meet again on this big blog world!

P.S we were playing Holbrook as you can see! I loved it! i got to see all my old friends!

Well, there isn't much to say except that i am so SORE!!! this week i have had 2-a-days for softball! we have a new coach, and she is really getting us in shape! and getting into shape means lots and lots of water! I have drank so much water this week! in the past 2 days i have drank 8 water bottles ( at least for practice)!

The Doctor

Yesterday, i went to flagstaff with my mom! I had a heart test! when i got there the doctor was really really nice he gave me an ultra sound and he made me run on a treadmill! On the treadmill, i had like 30 wires on me to make sure my heart was working good! it was a neat experience!!I did very well but i could have heart problems when i am older like jordan did! So i will have to keep checking up! Talk to you later!

RV Swim meet

this last saturday i had a swim meet in round valley i did okay but not too well on back stroke and freestyle!!
any way this last sunday one of the bishops in the stake died! his name was Bishop Morris!! he has 7 kids! it broke my heart to hear that he had died!
